Catch and release might certainly be viewed as harassing the fish, but fish get pretty clever about nibbling worms right around the hook. So we are actually training the fish in self-preservation by making them more wary of bait, etc. ;)

I understand, a highly trained shoal of Pickerel! That gives a whole new meaning to the Fish and wildlife service.
